The CX Builder uses existing visual designs to create front-end markup that honors the design’s layout and functionality perfectly in whatever front-end technology any individual project requires the code to be delivered in. Using modern front-end technologies, such as Javascript, Vue, Angular, or React, the CX Builder delivers the layout markup in code that developers can use immediately with no worry of losing design integrity. The CX Builder bridges the gap between Experience Design and the full-fledged developers who create the complex code for the back-end of any project. An CX Builder is versed in visual design technology as well as front-end development technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop front-end markup code in any front-end technology such as Vue, React, HTML, Javascript, or Angular.
- Work with Designers to accurately depict visual designs in code.
- Work with Developers to bring front-end code into development projects.
- Work with QA and UAT to ensure a design’s integrity as it goes through the development process.
- Propose ideas for which technologies would best serve the projects they work on.
- Communicate ideas through markup code examples, email, and meetings.
- Take flat visual mockup designs and convert them to usable front-end markup code in whatever front-end technology is needed for an individual project.
- Innovate technologies for front-end design as needed for the projects they serve on.
Job Qualification and Skills Required For NTT Data Recruitment 2021:
- 4 Year Degree in programming or web design, or equivalent experience of five years or more in the field of front-end development in modern web technologies.
- Skilled in HTML layout, Javascript, JQuery, Vue.js, React, Angular, or any front-end framework technologies from a design and layout perspective. Full-stack development not necessary. CX Builder only creates the layouts and front-end experiences in these technologies.
- Experience with visual design important, either with photoshop, sketch, or a combination of other visual design technologies.
- Experience with CSS and CSS Frameworks
- Motivated and self-starting individual that communicates on a professional level
- Ability to work in a close-knit team on projects that might have short timelines or sometimes be stressful
- Remote work is acceptable (unless job this description is for requires on site)
- Punctual for meetings and delivers work on-time or early.
